Hi there,
I have a confession: I skipped my jogging class this morning.
Yep, even I fall into the trap of choosing what’s easy in the moment.
And as I was thinking about it, I realized how often we misunderstand the choices we make today and how they shape our future.
That's why I want to take a moment to explain this weeks visual
Choose Your Hard

Ever notice how some things in life seem easy at first, but get a lot harder down the road?
And then there are those things that feel tough in the beginning, but over time, they make life so much easier.
We all have a choice to make.
Skipping the gym today? That’s easy.
But months later, when you’re out of breath climbing stairs, suddenly it’s not so easy anymore.
On the other hand, showing up at the gym might feel hard today, but over time, you’ll thank yourself for it.
Saving money? Same story.
It’s hard to start, but when the unexpected happens, having that cushion makes life a lot easier.
Meanwhile, spending freely now feels good, but when the bills pile up, that’s a whole new kind of hard.
The truth is, no matter what path you take, life will have its challenges.
The question is:
Do you want to face those challenges now, or do you want to deal with them later, when they’ve compounded?
Here are a few ways to start to choose your hard, that makes life easier later:
Invest in Your Health: Skipping the workout feels easier, but it’s a short-term win. Show up now, and you’ll reap the long-term benefits—physically and mentally.
Practice Discipline: Whether it’s saving money, building a new skill, or staying committed to a goal, the discipline you build today pays off tomorrow.
Embrace Delayed Gratification: It’s hard to say no to instant pleasure, but the rewards of patience often outweigh those quick fixes. Take the harder road now, and watch your future self thrive.
Take Ownership: Facing responsibilities head-on can feel like a weight, but avoiding them only makes them heavier later. Take control now, and lighten your load for the future.
So next time you're faced with a choice, ask yourself: which "hard" do you want to take on?
The one that sets you up for success later, or the one that feels like a struggle when you’re forced to deal with it down the road?
Remember, in the end, we all have to choose our hard.
One makes your future easier, the other makes it harder.
The good news is, the choice is yours!
Cheers,
